Ta Palma is almost upon us once more, so its time to lick your lips and tingle your tastebuds for Palma´s annual tapas festival.
Running from 25 November to 29 November and now in its 15th year, Palma will be welcoming visitors over the five day festival who will be sampling and savouring contemporary and traditional tapas.
Hosted in more than 20 bars and restaurants throughout the city the main objective in this a very difficult of year for hospitality, is to help revitalise the restaurant sector.
The participating bars and restaurants offer specially created tapas for around €2 each and the festival is structured around eight tapas routes taking in some of Palma’s most interesting and distinctive neighbourhoods, such as Santa Catalina, Paseo Maritimo and Portixol (to name but three).
It really is a wonderful way to explore this beautiful Mediterranean city while dining on the highest quality tapas at a bargain price. Many restaurants are also starting to offer special cocktails to accompany the tapas. Several awards are up for grabs for the best tapa, best restaurant, best theme, etc so competition between restaurants is lively!
With the bars and restaurants open from 12.30 to 16.00 and from 19.30 23.00 hrs , there is more than ample opportunity to taste and explore the best that Palma has to offer with Ta Palma.
So whether you are on your own or with family or friends, grab a Tap Palma map and set off on your chosen route looking out for the handy TaPalma banners welcoming you to the participating restaurants.
