Inside the Legend: Rafa Nadal’s New Must-See Museum in Mallorca

In Manacor, the newly reimagined ‘Inside the Legend’ Museum at the Rafa Nadal Academy offers an immersive journey through the life and career of one of tennis’s greatest champions.

Opened in May 2026 and unveiled by 22-time Grand Slam Champion Rafa Nadal, the Museum offers an insight into the man as well as the champion, understanding the effort, discipline and values that have defined his career beyond the collection of trophies. And there are plenty of those !

Beginning your journey you pass through an audiovisual tunnel that recreates the dreams, ambitions and early influences of a young boy from Manacor. 

Highlights include “Origins,” which explores Nadal’s childhood and family life, where personal items are on display such as his first childhood tennis racket and “King of Clay,” a tribute to his unparalleled success on the red dirt of Roland-Garros. 

A dedicated “Big Three” video diary allows rivals Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic to discuss what a thrill it was for them all to be on the circuit at the same time. “Challenges and Triumphs” is where you can visually relive the greatest era in the history of tennis.

There is memorabilia on display in the “Sports Legends” room, from athletes who inspired Nadal, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt and Lionel Messi. 

Think you have what it takes to be a winner ? There are interactive challenges and sports simulators which allow you to test your own speed, coordination and reflexes against elite-level benchmarks.

More than a Museum, ‘Inside the Legend’ is a celebration of perseverance, humility and sporting excellence, a journey through Rafa’s career from his greatest triumphs to his most intimate and personal moments, and is a must-visit destination for all sports lovers and anyone who wants to understand what drives a true legend.
