Whether you’re a yachting aficionado or just fancy rubbing shoulders with the sailing fraternity, then the Palma International Boat Show is for you.
One of the premier shows in the boating calendar, the 37th anniversary show which takes place from 03 – 06 June 2021, sees more than 600 yachts on display, half of which are on the water, plus 270 direct exhibitors and 82,000 square meters of exhibition.
If smooching with the super-rich appeals or you’re feeling flush, there are also 100 super yachts in the Palma Super Yacht show which runs alongside the Boat Show.
After tourism, the continuing boom of the nautical sector is the most important source of income for the Balearics, bringing more than 400 million euros every year to the islands.
So, whilst it’s big business for people with big wallets, it doesn’t mean you can’t just visit the show.
There is live music daily, food outlets, and plenty of place to enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere. Or if you’re thinking about making a purchase, or organising a charter, then this is the place to meet the right people.
The Palma International Boatshow has also become the hub in Europe for yachts with over 200 companies dedicated to servicing and refurbishing and the city is an ideal location for the event. The show, located in the heart of the city in the Moll Vell in front of La Lonja with the magnificent La Seu Cathedral as your backdrop, provides a stunning location whatever your level of yachting enthusiasm.
The Palma International Boat Show also marks the opening of the Mediterranean nautical season so devotees of all levels visit the show for inspiration, opportunities to upgrade, sell or just experience the passion of spending time on the water.
