Tucked in one of Palma’s delightful little streets in the heart of the old town, you will find Posada Terra Santa dating back to 1576. Once the stately home of the Barons de Boixadors with it’s medieval façade, the hotel’s conversion into a chic hotel has been a great success, combining majesty with modernity.
The bedrooms are set over 3 floors, are all unique and divided into five categories from standard to the Baron’s Suite. The rooms are light, bright and airy, all decorated in soft shades of creams and taupe with luxury fabrics, comfy armchairs good sized bathrooms with walk-in showers. Some of the Preferential Suites have small patios and there is one Duplex Suite, spread over two levels with the bed on the upper floor and the sitting room on the lower.
But for a treat book the Baron’s Suite . At 45 m2 there’s plenty of room to spread out and it’s flooded with light from the double aspect windows.
Just across from reception stairs lead down to a delightful spa area complete with heated splash pool, sauna and treatment room which can be booked exclusively during your stay, perfect for the cooler months.
The lounge area on the first floor is the perfect spot to sit and read, or, if you are seeking a hideaway, there is a sumptuous library on the ground floor with an honesty bar close by should you require a little refreshment.

La Despensa del Barón Restaurant with its gothic beams enjoys a special ambience. With the building dating back to the 16th century, your memory will be adding to it’s history.
Chef Philip Künkel prepares a delicious menu and La Despensa del Barón is one of the most popular restaurants in Palma. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is a buffet, served from 08.00am - 11.00am. Freshly baked breads and pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereals are available, plus juices, cold cuts and cheeses. Warm egg dishes can be made to order.
La Despensa del Barón is open every day except Monday from 7.30pm to 10.30 pm.
