Nivia Born Boutique Hotel
Nivia Born is a sleek 5* urban bolthole, part of the Mallorcan family-owned Garden Hotels Group who have led the way in responsible tourism for over 40 years, synonymous with service excellence, sustainability and respect for the community.

Housed in an elegant historical building once home to Spanish airline Iberia’s first head office, now reimagined into a sophisticated boutique hotel blending luxury and nostalgia seamlessly with aviation artefacts celebrating the golden age of travel including the iconic Pan America logo cleverly mirrored into the ceiling on the lobby on the 7th Floor.
Whilst the hotel overlooks the leafy Passeig del Borne, the hotel’s entrance is off one of the city’s atmospheric side streets and is so discreet that one could almost pass it by.

The snug but welcoming reception space is flooded by natural light provided by the towering atrium above. A swift lift sweeps guests to their rooms, with every nook of the hotel showcasing interesting and varied contemporary artworks and black and white vintage photography of the cityscape of Palma.

There are 24 individually styled bedrooms spread across six floors in five categories. All have stylish and contemporary décor, with taupe and biscuit textiles, vibrant artwork and sleek oak flooring. All windows are double-glazed to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.

Starting with the Cozy Rooms, all of which offer the option of a King size bed or Twin beds and accommodate two people or, if you are a group of three, you can book the Princess Junior Suites which offer a third bed which cleverly pulls out from the wall.

Splash out on The Hidden Suite and enjoy free private airport transfers or the Gallery Red Suite which is adorned with art from local Gallery Red.

There is a restaurant on the 7th Floor, The Lounge. A tribute to the glamour and sophistication of mid century design while paying homage to the buildings history.

Popular locally for lunch and dinner, with a menu of Mallorcan fare with a twist and a km zer0 ethos using organic seasonal produce.

Sip a cocktail while gazing over the skyline of Palma and the spires of gothic La Seu Cathedral from the tranquil rooftop offering 360 degree vistas.

The team go to great lengths to ensure that guests have a fabulous experience in this sleek urban oasis. The location is perfect. Overlooking the leafy Paseo del Borne lined with restaurants, cafes and designer boutiques, one of the city’s most famous streets, in the heart of the historic old town and just minutes on foot from the striking La Seu Cathedral and the Bay of Palma beyond.
