La Residencia – A Belmond Hotel
La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, set in the picturesque village of Deià on the spectacular north coast with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, has built a well-deserved reputation for being one of the best hotels in Europe.
Deià has been an artists´ haven for over a century. Robert Graves, the famous poet and novelist, was it’s most famous resident but many other writers, painters and musicians have come to call this valley their home.
Joining together two former fincas and with newer additions layered into the hillside Belmond La Residencia combines heritage with world class luxury and service.
The 67 bedrooms and suites are located in the main finca and dotted across the property, accessed by stone paths and steps through the immaculate gardens of cypresses and olive tress. Many of the rooms in the main house have traditional beamed ceilings and are adorned with antique Mallorcan furniture, terracotta floors and ornate rugs.
The newer rooms and suites with panoramic views of the mountains and village blend seamlessly into the landscape and each have the same high-end finish.
If you fancy a treat then splash out on one of the hotel’s pool suites or the latest addition, the Matthew Williamson pool suite ( a local resident) designed with his characteristic flair for colour.
There are two outdoor swimming pools, one heated, one adult-only, plus a huge indoor pool in the spacious spa. Everyone is welcome at La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel and the children’s club (open during the school holidays) allows the grown-ups to relax. Offering arts, crafts and cooking, your little ones will enjoy fun-filled days.
The hotel is perfectly situated for a stroll into Deià and make time for a visit to the Robert Graves Museum.
La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel is about luxurious comfort, a welcoming environment and spectacular scenery and a stay here will create memories for many years to come.

By the end of your stay, you will be on first name terms with everyone you come into contact with.
