La Reserva Rotana

5* La Reserva Rotana is a serene, luxurious and beautifully restored 17th-century estate set in rolling countryside just outside Manacor in the east of the island, a haven for travellers seeking peace, privacy and a more authentic Mallorcan stay. 

Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves , the property feels worlds away from the coastal hotspots, yet remains within easy reach of some of Mallorca’s finest beaches and attractions.

The historic main building with trademark smokey-blue shutters is part of a cluster of smaller stone dwellings which have been beautifully refurbished and transformed to offer an elegant boutique stay. 

There are 14 individually styled and spacious rooms and suites located in the main and surrounding buildings, in six categories, from Comfort, Superior and Deluxe rooms to Junior suites, Superior, Terrace suites and one Penthouse suite. 

Spacious Junior Suites and Terrace Suites offer extra room to unwind, making them ideal for longer stays or special occasions and some suites feature private terraces overlooking the estate. 

Natural materials of wood and polished stone complement whitewashed walls, old beams and fabrics in muted shades to create a contemporary haven of calm.

Within the extensive, aromatic gardens is a heated pool flanked by loungers. Beyond the gardens are the hotel’s orchards and fields of locally grown produce, including a vineyard. 

On the grounds, as well as its sister hotel 4* Es Mayolet with 10 rooms, the more active guests can take a swing at Mallorca’s only private nine-hole golf course ( complimentary for La Reserva Rotana guests ) or play on the tennis courts.

Dining centres on the hotel’s acclaimed Rotana Restaurant. Overseen by the team of renowned Michelin-starred chef Andreu Genestra, the day-to-day kitchen is led by chef Irene Lluch and serves locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine, with many ingredients grown in the property’s own gardens and orchards. 

Lunch is a relaxed affair served at The Terrace Bistro with a carefully curated menu of fresh and sophisticated dishes, light options and grilled cuts.
