Hoposa Cultural Boutique Hotel
Located on Plaza Miquel Capllonch, which takes its name from a distinguished local pianist and composer and just 100 metres from the white sandy beach of Port de Pollenca, is the historic Hoposa Cultural Boutique Hotel.
This atmospheric property offers simple home comforts and of course the friendly service synonymous with all Hoposa Hotels.
Completely renovated in 2022 the owners have retained the hotel’s old world charm which sits seamlessly with the fresh new decor.
The spacious lobby, bar and lounge area is bright and airy with high ceilings, traditional terracotta tiles, signature lighting, big comfortable sofas and vibrant scatter cushions. The marble topped bar complete with hop-on stools offers the perfect spot to chat to fellow guests. The in-house restaurant serves food all day, with a dining area inside and for warmer days on the terrace outside overlooking the square.
The bedrooms, which are all flooded with light, are laid out over two floors in two categories, standard and rooms with balcony. All 24 rooms blend traditional elements of Mallorcan decor, tile flooring, window shutters, wooden headboards with neutral décor and coffee and cream coloured bed linens. Bathrooms are all painted white with a nod to the hotel’s heritage with black and white mosaic tiles.
There is a superb roof terrace complete with splash pool and loungers offering 360 degree views across the rooftops of the town and the Tramuntana Mountains beyond.
The picturesque town of Pollença is a 10-minute drive from the hotel and you are a 15-minute by car or bus to the Medieval walled town of Alcúdia, which has the remains of a Roman amphitheatre. Port de Pollença is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists looking to explore the Tramuntana mountains and coastline of the north of Mallorca
Hoposa Cultural Boutique offers excellent value for money, a relaxed ambiance and a warm welcome from the hotel team.
Check-in for the Hotel is at the sister property Hotel Daina, just meters away which allows all the facilities to be shared.

Something Different
Location is spot on. When on holiday, it’s easy to forget that this is a working thriving town and what better pleasure than to stay in a hotel overlooking what is considered to be the heart of the community – its main square and church. The weekly farmer’s market held each Wednesday is a hive of activity and, if your timing overlaps with one of the many important fiestas, then all the better.
The plaza is lined with numerous restaurants and cafés and is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere of the town as you watch the locals mixing and mingling.
At the western end of the square is the Mare de Déu del Carme Church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel) the patron saint of seafarers, which plays a key role in the annual July fiesta honouring the sea which takes place over eight days ending with a procession where many of the port’s boats participate.
What's Special
The roof terrace. With uninterrupted views as far as the eye can see, this is the perfect spot to cool down in the plunge pool and relax after a hard days sight seeing.
