In a privileged setting and away from the hustle and bustle, Es Mayolet is a rural haven of understated luxury and calm, set in 28 hectare La Rotana Reserva private estate of rolling countryside in Mallorca which is also home to the only private 9 hole golf course on the island and the newly renovated main hotel La Reserva Rotana. 

Situated just outside the historic town of Manacor, the property provides a peaceful base for exploring the eastern corner of the island and its stunning coastline. 

The Es Mayolet finca, housing both the accommodation and the dining area, has just been completely renovated and reimagined whilst preserving its traditional Mallorcan character and introducing modern conveniences for contemporary travellers.

With just ten rooms, Es Mayolet maintains an intimate and tranquil atmosphere. Accommodation is arranged over two floors of the main house and comprises four room categories:

Standard Double, Double Plus, Junior Suite and Suite. The rooms are spacious, elegant and individually styled, blending contemporary comfort with traditional architectural features and natural materials. Soft, earthy tones create a calming ambience throughout. All rooms enjoy views of the gardens, vineyards or surrounding countryside, while the suites offer additional living space and private terraces.

Es Mayolet embraces a genuine farm-to-table philosophy, showcasing seasonal produce sourced locally and, wherever possible, from the estate itself.

The signature restaurant, Sa Vinya d’Es Mayolet, is overseen by gastronomic director Andreu Genestra, one of Mallorca’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Day-to-day culinary operations are led by chef Irene Lluch, whose cooking reflects a respect for local ingredients, seasonality and the island’s gastronomic heritage. Open to both guests and visitors, Sa Vinya d’Es Mayolet offers an exclusive dining experience centred around a daily Table d’Hôte menu. The menu changes with the seasons and highlights the very best local produce available each day. A half board option is available when booking your room which is excellent value.

Outside, the centrepiece is the heated swimming pool and sun terrace offering uninterrupted views across the countryside. Guests can settle into a gentle rhythm of relaxation, lounging beneath the Mediterranean sun, cooling off in the pool or finding shade beneath the pine trees.

The estate also features a 9 hole golf course ( see below ) tennis court, training sessions with coaches from the Rafa Nadal Academy or personal trainers upon request. There are guided estate tours, vineyard experiences, hiking and cycling routes and opportunities to explore the protected ANEI woodland area, home to around 50 native Mallorcan tortoises.

The historic town of Manacor is just 10 minutes away, worth exploring and the highlight is the Rafa Nadal Academy and the Rafa Nadal Museum. 

Although Es Mayolet is snuggled into the sleepy countryside, you are only a 20 minute drive to some of the islands stunning beaches offering a perfect fly-and-flop escape.
