Staff are welcoming and are on hand to offer suggestions about how to spend your day.Dotted with original artworks throughout, it is hard to know where to focus with sea views tempting you at every turn through the floor-to-ceiling windows. 

Laid out over four floors, there are 32 light-filled bedrooms, all with sea views. Divided into six categories from standard through to the Royal Suite all have pale wooden floors and furnishings, white walls and terrace complete with deckchairs.

The superior rooms are slightly larger than the standard rooms, but if you feel like splashing out then book one of the top floor suites, which offer large decked terraces with a whirlpool tub and of course those spectacular views.

There is a good size outdoor pool flanked by sun beds and a huge shaded terrace which is the hub of the hotel and offers the perfect spot for a sundowner.

A second smaller outdoor heated pool adjoins the spa, where there is a sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath. An extensive menu of treatments is available so if you are in need of some pampering, a relaxing massage or time out in the hot tub, the spa will soon restore you.

There is also a small gym and bikes are available for guests if you are feeling energetic.
