Widely considered one of the most scenic marathons in Europe, Palma celebrates its 21th Marathon on Sunday October 19th 2025.
Over the marathon weekend thousands of runners will descend on Palma to take part in the 26.2 mile Tui Palma Marathon.
Organisers of the Tui Palma Marathon expect over 10,000 runners from 50 different countries to compete in the full marathon, half marathon and 10K races. The spectacularly scenic route along the seaside promenade and through the old town, combined with good weather and fantastic atmosphere have made this a hugely popular challenge year on year.
Runners, joggers and walkers of all levels and ages are welcome and there is a children’s run on Saturday afternoon ahead of the ‘big race’ to promote sport for all ages.
The marathon, half marathon and 10 K all start with an excited countdown between 9:00 and 9:30. The main hub is centered around Parc de Mar in the shadow of Palma´s magnificent La Seu Gothic Cathedral.
The Tui Palma Marathon runners complete two circuits so there’s plenty of opportunity for spectators to cheer them on along the way. There are ‘spectator hubs’ with entertainment, live music and local dancing along the route to keep the runners spirits up as well as plenty of water stations.
The final stretch heading down Passeig del Born towards the Bay of Palma and the finishing line, crowded with supporters, could not be more thrilling.
Running is good for your body, mind and soul. So pop on your jogging gear, feel the sun on your back and raise money for a charity close to your heart.
