The Rafa Nadal Museum is a must-see for tennis and sports lovers and of course Rafa Nadal fans. Located in his hometown of Manacor, the Museum offers a unique experience to learn about his early years in tennis, his triumphs in tournaments and of course the story of his phenomenal career with 22 Grand Slams to his name.
As part of the Rafa Nadal Academy, when you visit the Museum you can see first hand the size and magnitude of this outstanding complex dedicated to sport fitness.
The museum is laid out over two floors – an exhibition and an interactive floor. The exhibition floor on the first level allows visitors to learn about Rafa and his lifetime of achievements with his trophies and medals on display as well as his vast racket collection and video highlights of his career.
The exhibition floor also has items on display donated from other famous athletes, such as Roger Federer, Lionel Messi, Sebastian Vettel, and Pau Gasol. One exhibit displays the original shirts of the entire Spanish national football team, the car driven by Fernando Alonso when he won the 2005 F1 championship and a huge collection of tennis rackets owned by famous names such as McEnroe and Becker.
On the lower floor you will find an interactive display which gives visitors the opportunity to get active and step into the world of these famous athletes.
With the aid of simulators and virtual reality platforms, visitors can take part in a variety of sports. Groups can work together in a rowing challenge, mountain biking or friends can compete in a tennis match. Aspiring racers can also take the wheel in a Formula 1 race.
You can even take your turn to pose with Rafa in a photo as a memory of your day at the Museum ( me with Rafa).
If you wanted to purchase a souvenir, their is a small gift shop with exclusive Rafa Nadal Academy products.
Feeling hungry ? Why not head to one of the Academy restaurants. Perhaps the most popular is the Restaurant Roland Garros with its outside terrace with stunning views across the whole academy.
