Hoposa Daina Hotel and Suites

Hoposa Daina first opened its doors in 1963. Enjoying an enviable position overlooking the Bay of Pollensa, close to everything on the scenic pine walk promenade and just a bare foot walk to the fine sandy beach, it has a high ratio of returning guests. After almost five decades of service by the Hoposa family hotel group, the hotel has recently undergone a no-expense-spared makeover.

The new signature style of mid-century modern mixed with art decó is taken to a new level of cool glamour here. Lush velvet fabrics with bold colours are set against parquet flooring and glamorous lighting.

Gold mirrored panels and spectacular chandeliers offer gilded luxury to the open plan lobby and the midnight blue cocktail bar with complimenting white leather bar stools add further flair to the design. But it does not feel oppressive in this sunshine climate with floor to ceiling crittall windows creating an indoor – outdoor feeling. 

The bedrooms and Suite Apartments are in two buildings. In the Hoposa Daina building, rooms are laid out over seven floors in four categories including singles, standard rooms with balcony and views over the Tramuntana from the higher floors, sea view rooms with balcony and front facing sea view rooms with balcony. On the sixth floor you will find the Penthouse Suites with jacuzzi pool, private terrace and of course those superb views.

All bedrooms are flooded with light, with wood flooring, neutral décor and cream and white bed covers. The bathrooms are slick with walk-in showers, exposed brick walls painted white and there is a nod to the hotel’s heritage with mosaic floor tiles.

In the adjacent Formentor building situated immediately behind the Daina ( previously Hoposa Daina Apartments ) you will find some standard rooms and the new Suite Apartments.

Guests staying in this all suite property can choose to stay in a One Bedroom Suite Apartment offering a sitting room, balcony or terrace and fully equipped kitchen with daily cleaning service.

Guests enjoy the same quality accommodation and facilities as Hoposa Daina Hotel, but with apartment style living, giving you more room to spread out and you can choose to include breakfast.

The jewel in the crown of Hoposa Daina Hotel  is its spacious sparkling freshwater pool which juts out into the sea, allowing you to dip and stretch out on your sunbed to the sound of with the waves quietly lapping against the shore.

There is a small gym and spacious sun terrace where you can sit and sip and watch the world go by from this vantage spot on the promenade.
