Wilson´s Restaurant is one of the restaurant openings of the year that everyone is talking about.
Offering a sleek and welcoming dining area and an outside terrace in a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of Palma, Wilson´s offers an oasis of calm.
The Danish owner Michael Wilson, with many years of experience in the restaurant business wanted to bring the best culinary techniques from modern Nordic cuisine to Palma using the finest of Mallorcan produce. The results are heavenly.
Wilson´s is about the food but also about the feeling, ensuring comfortable dining experience with a warm welcome from front of house through to the `open´ kitchen who are all working together to make your visit memorable.
There is clearly a passion for food in the kitchen and the food is sublime but this is a casual dining experience. With 80% of produce sourced locally including a little gathering and foraging in the Mallorcan countryside Wilson´s are rightly proud of being able to offer sustainability and the smallest eco footprint.
Their weekly changing menu means that you can enjoy what is in season at it´s very best. Everything is homemade from the bread and butter to the petit fours. A typical menu may include for example beef tartar on rye bread with truffle cream and pickled onions, smoked pork belly, sweet potato, carrots and salt liquorice or poached egg, grilled beans and burnt garlic emulsion. For dessert a citrus cheesecake, mandarin sorbet with ginger and oat granola. Save room !
Lunch offers 3 courses for €22 or 6 courses for €38. The evening menu offers 2 courses for €35, 4 courses €50 e or 7 courses €75. Each exceptional value for the the finest cuisine.
Having only just opened this year with five star reviews in abundance Wilsons is definately one to try. Simply delicious.
Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
