Five things to pack for Spring in Mallorca

Spring in Mallorca has arrived ! The almond trees have blossomed the days are getting longer and warmer each week. If you are travelling to Mallorca in the next few months and are unsure what to pack, here’s my Spring packing tips.

Sunglasses
Most definitely. The sun in Spring is already shining brightly in Mallorca so you will need glasses and, if you are travelling with children, don’t forget their sunglasses as well!

A swimsuit
The later you arrive in Spring the more chance there will be to swim in the sea. It will be invigorating but by no means cold. Hotel pools, unless they are heated, can still be a little on the cool side. Some of you may have booked one of the MallorcanTonic´s selected hotels with an indoor pool and spa in which case a swimsuit it essential.

A light jacket or warm fleece
Spring in Mallorca still requires a light jacket or fleece for the evenings. Whilst daytime temperatures can reach 20-25 degrees, night time temperatures will be lower so you need a warm layer in the evenings when heading out.

Covered shoes/ trainers
Spring is about exploring and the best way to do that is on foot in Palma, the beaches or in the mountains and you want to be comfortable with a good pair of runners or closed toe shoes.

If you have room be sure to sneak in a pair of flip-flops to let your feet breath after the long winter.

A short sleeve T-shirt or shorts

Yes you can get your arms and legs out at last! But don’t forget the suncream as well as you don’t want to go home with sunburn.

Have you booked your hotel yet ? So what would you put on your Spring packing list for Mallorca ?
