Housed in a 19th-century mansion in the heart of the old town, Bo Hotel Palma perfectly compliments the historic buildings and cobbled streets of the city´s Sa Llotja district.
This delightful hotel with just 19 rooms has been carefully renovated to offer a stylish and comfortable oasis. It´s location means you can enjoys the vibrant buzz of the neighbourhood and at the same time are just a stone’s throw from Palma´s La Seu Cathedral, Paseo del Borne with it´s chic shopping and a short stroll from the harbour with its super yachts.
The reception area, which accessed by way of a pedestrianised street, is light and bright and spills out into the open plan bar lounge and restaurant area.
Set over four floors and following the contours of the original building the bedrooms all vary in size and all have a balconies ranging from Juliette to full size. The Sky Suite pictured below offers a huge sun terrace plus outside jacuzzi. Why not treat yourself as a savvy-off seasoner ? All have stunning marble bathrooms complete with rain showers, Molton Brown toiletries and each room has an Espresso machine as standard.
Of course the pièce de résistance is a stunning rooftop area complete with shaded sunbeds and plunge pool offering spectacular city views. Oh and I forgot to mention the phone to order a beverage as you recline. The Bo Hotel Palma is a welcome addition to the city´s collection of new luxury properties.
The Ritzi restaurant. Occupying a large area ground floor this is the second Ritzi to open on the island. It´s sister restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants in the upmarket Puerto Portals marina.
Owned by brothers Antonio and Salvador Longobardi, Ritzi offers excellent Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with slick service from an experienced team who wanted to bring their cuisine into the capital. Chef Giancarlo Mellone and his team make all the pasta by hand and use only local ingredients with a Mediterranean theme.
So you don´t have to go far to enjoy and excellent slice of Mallorcuisine.
It has got to be the rooftop terrace which is a perfect escape whatever the Mallorcan weather. Offering a heated spa pool, shaded loungers and the telephone for your favourite tipple, day or night this is the place to soak up Palma´s magnificent skyline.
Breakfast which can be included in the room rate is served between 07.30am -11.00am in the Ritzi Restaurant on the ground floor and is a continental style with breads, croissants and freshly squeezed juices.
Ritzi Restauant opens for lunch at 12.30 pm and there is a daily ´Menu `offered which is great value and already popular locally and with visitors. It has gained a maximum rating of five stars already. An a la carte menu is offered in the evening between 6.30pm -10.30pm. You can also enjoy the Ritzi menu `in room´ if you choose to.
